Our Story

Coventry Surveyors — Born From Local Expertise

Coventry Surveyors was founded with one simple aim: to give property buyers and sellers in Coventry access to the highest quality, most honest survey service available. We grew out of frustration with the experience many buyers had — getting generic reports that left them with more questions than answers.

We've spent years surveying every type of property in and around the Coventry area — from Victorian back-to-backs in Foleshill to sprawling detached homes in Kenilworth, commercial retail units in the city centre to modern new-builds in Binley. That depth of local experience is something you simply can't replicate.

James has over 14 years of experience surveying residential and commercial properties across Coventry and Warwickshire. He specialises in complex structural assessments and has surveyed everything from pre-war terraces in Foleshill to substantial country houses in the surrounding Midlands villages.

James is particularly passionate about helping first-time buyers navigate the home-buying process. "People often feel overwhelmed," he says. "A good survey gives them clarity — and that's what we're here to provide."

Sarah joined Coventry Surveyors after a decade working in property and construction across the Midlands. She has completed over 300 residential surveys in Coventry and surrounding areas, with particular expertise in Victorian and Edwardian terraced housing common to the city.

Daniel's background is in property and construction, with a focus on commercial building surveys, fire risk assessments and expert witness work. He has a particularly strong understanding of compliance with building regulations and fire safety measures in both residential and commercial properties.

Daniel handles our most complex commercial surveys, from retail units in Coventry's city centre to industrial facilities on the outskirts of the Midlands. "Commercial surveying is about risk management," he explains. "Our job is to make sure our clients understand every risk before they sign on the dotted line."
